A tested, distinctive metal shingle your customers ask for and rarely find.
Spengler Industries fabricates an interlocking 90° diamond shingle for roof and wall applications, now Florida NOA approved in painted Galvalume. The diamond profile is a look architects and owners ask for and rarely find in metal, which makes it an easy way to differentiate your line. For roofers it installs clean with no exposed fasteners and performs in high wind. For distributors it is a differentiated line item that moves on design appeal in a market that usually only sells on performance.
Why roofers and distributors are moving this line
- Florida NOA approved. Tested and accepted for high-wind, severe-weather conditions. Wind uplift tested to 217 psf, with failure occurring in the plywood substrate above 232 psf, not in the panel or the interlock.
- Zero exposed fasteners. A continuous concealed clip system attaches every shingle without penetrating the panel face. Fewer leak points, cleaner aesthetics, less callback risk.
- A look that closes jobs. The 90° interlocking diamond profile is the kind of distinctive metal finish architects and owners specify and rarely find. It helps your contractors win the bid, not just fill it.
- Built for Florida exposure. 24 gauge painted Galvalume with PVDF coatings engineered for corrosion resistance and long-term color retention.
- Proven where it counts. A tested high-wind assembly with a track record in demanding coastal and hurricane markets.

Two coating systems, two color lines
Marine-Grade PVDF (Koolnar 3XL) — coastal and high-exposure. Required within 1,500 feet of the coast. A 3-coat premium PVDF system built for saline, marine environments with enhanced corrosion resistance. Backed by a 20-year material finish warranty.

Standard PVDF (Kynar 500 / Hylar 5000) — inland and non-coastal. For applications beyond 1,500 feet from the coast. A multi-layer PVDF fluoropolymer finish, abrasion resistant, backed by a 40-year material finish warranty.

Rule of thumb for the field: within 1,500 feet of saltwater, spec marine. Beyond that, standard.

A note on warranty and material
The finish warranties above are material warranties on the PVDF coating, the standard offered by Galvalume coating manufacturers. We tested and certified the painted Galvalume configuration specifically because it delivers Florida-rated performance at a price point built to sell at volume. Premium substrates like copper or stainless carry far longer material life, but at a cost that does not fit a mass-market roofing line, and they fall outside this NOA. The certified, warranted, ready-to-quote system is painted Galvalume.

A complete system, not just a panel
Every project ships with matching interlocking trims fabricated to order: starter components, ridge, hip and valley trims, perimeter and transition flashings, custom roof jacks, chimney and skylight flashing, gutter systems, and optional integrated solar mounting brackets engineered to drop into the interlock without breaking weather tightness.

For distributors
This is a differentiated SKU in a category that usually competes on price alone. NOA approval clears it for the Florida market, the diamond profile creates pull-through demand from architects and owners, and the two-tier coating structure lets your branches spec correctly for coastal and inland jobs. Already an approved vendor with ABC Supply.
For roofers and contractors
Concealed-fastener installation, a tested high-wind assembly, and a finish that wins design-driven bids. Sequential interlocking with clip attachment over a plywood deck. Custom fabricated to your project so the panels and trims arrive ready to install.
