Lifetime Warranty

When others in the industry say “lifetime warranty” what do they mean? This is not a regulated term, so more often than not, the warranty you’ll receive will certainly be many times less than your lifespan and require consistent replacement and maintenance. We can do so much better. This is what you can expect from us:

What do we mean when we say “lifetime warranty”? Three things are considered:

-the system

-the material

-the installation and planning

All of these features contribute to the longevity of the roof / wall.

Our systems are manufactured with most of the engineering built in. Every last component has been carefully designed to offer the best value, beauty and permanence while still keeping planning and installation intuitive. How do we know these are permanent systems? We have based our designs from European castles, cathedrals and other important historic works of architectural art which have lasted maintenance-free for hundreds of years. Back in Europe, we were among a handful of credentialed masters eligible to work on these precious buildings. The repairs required were only due to random occurrences such as fallen tree limbs or damage sustained from battle in WWII. In some cases, the buildings were well over 800 years old. In all cases, they were built to last and engineered properly from the start so no maintenance was ever required. We KNOW our systems last. And we’ve even improved upon old world engineering and designs with the most up to date and innovative improvements. Our systems are permanent.

We are among the top minds in our field and have “built in” our particular skills directly into the systems but any system no matter how well engineered is only as strong as the components from which it is made. Systems can last as long as the materials allow. Therefore, we endorse only the best materials. Budget and design enter the equation, so we offer the best options along the longevity spectrum. Galvalume and aluminum come with a PVDF paint warranted against chalk and fade for 35 years. At the other end, stainless steel, copper and titanium could last ostensibly for a thousand years. Building ethics into our products means two things: our clients are getting the value they are promised and we are all being good stewards of the Earth by building once, well, and from recyclable, sustainable materials.

We fully recognize no two roofs / building envelopes are the same and some come with difficult circumstances like complex geometry, substructure issues, environmental issues, design constraints etc. We are here to help you. The design must be planned well and the products installed properly to achieve the permanence we intend, and we’re here for you with every step. Other companies will leave you hanging out to dry on your own because they don’t have the means to offer assistance. We provide both remote and hands on assistance. We fully anticipate no intervention on our part for most projects as we really have built in the “ease”, but absolutely count on us to step in as you require.

Terne shingle turret

In the spirit of this subject, take a look at a few tricky details we’ve planned for. A cricket detail on a turret in construction progress keeps water and debris from accumulating behind the obstruction. All the seams are double locked and engineered to direct the water channels properly.
