We Set the Standard for
Sustainable Building Materials

Metal roofing and wall cladding provide the best choices for energy efficiency regardless of whether you live in a desert, a mountain, or a rainforest.

The Most Environmentally Friendly
Products You’ll Find Anywhere in the World

We engineer our own metal systems for roofing and wall cladding. It’s not just another pretty face. It works! For hundreds of years, Germany’s top master roofers relied upon this proven system. In a country with arguably the toughest regulations and the highest engineering and “green” standards in the world, that speaks volumes! When properly installed, our system CAN’T leak or fail. Step outside the conventional! Use materials that will help your project earn LEED credits and shape an industry where energy efficient products become the norm.

Why Does Metal Rank
Among the Most Sustainable Building Materials?

Let us show you!

Recyclable Materials

We manufacture most of our metals from 75% (or more) recycled content. Each roof or wall system is 100% recyclable. Metal recycling centers use a lot less energy and offer a premium for used metals, which can be transformed into countless options for even more green products.

Longevity

A long life means a lot less waste. Asphalt shingles contribute to billions of dollars in waste in landfills a year. Many have attempted to recycle them, but so far, no one has come up with an effective solution. Why not just bypass the issue and select a product you know has value in its afterlife?

Energy Efficient

Our metals reflect heat and damaging UV light away from the structure. The materials used for our systems tolerate the most extreme environments–the coldest or hottest on the planet. Using the latest technology, we harness the natural properties of air and weather to provide added insulation.

Working With the Weather

Use natural air flow to create additional insulation in your building with these sustainable solutions.

Cold Roofs

Most traditional roofs place insulation below the roof deck.

However, cold roofs utilize an air gap between the roof and the building, creating a separation layer that serves as additional insulation and prevents heat transfer. Our craftsmen calculate the spacing so the roof will bear the requisite weight and the airflow will be sufficient.

Rainscreens

Air is one of the best insulators. A rainscreen is an entire system of siding, drainage planes and a moisture/air barrier. When correctly engineered, it traps air and keeps it appropriately stagnant, so the building stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It prevents moisture from accumulating. It can be a predominant aesthetic feature and set the tone for a building’s design.

We Can Recommend the
Best Solution For You

Our roofing and wall systems can be made in a wide variety of metals stemming from steel to titanium. Each possesses unique reflective properties and inherent characteristics, but all are “green.” Just ask–we can find the best fit for your needs.

Add a Little More “Green” to Your Building Project

Even our paint and accessories increase energy efficiency and contribute to environmentally friendly solutions.

Paint

We coat our painted shingles with Dura Coat. Dura Coat uses cool pigments in all XT40, XT40S and DURAPON 70™️ formulations and intentionally reduces the carbon footprint. They engineer all formulas to gain maximum practical volume solids to achieve even greener technologies. They eliminate the harmful raw materials from its formulas such as lead chromate pigments.

Accessories

If you live in a snowy area, our snow hooks fit perfectly with our interlocking metal shingles and snow abatement systems. We know that air insulates! Since snow is comprised of 95% air, keeping snow on your roof makes sense. Snow keeps the heat in your house and the cold out of it.

We also have special accessories like stainless steel solar panel holders made to fit perfectly with our systems.
