Rounded corrugated terne cladding project

Location: Park City, Utah, USA.

The project consists of:

– 7,000 ft2 double-locked standing seam roof in terne (tin coated stainless steel)

– 300 feet European half round gutter (also in terne)

– 800 feet of snow guards (in stainless steel)

– 5,000 ft2 7/8″ round corrugated wall cladding (in terne)

The wall is a rainscreen type of installation utilizing stainless steel hat channels. We opted for stainless steel rivets instead of screws to provide better cosmetic appeal.

Installation by William Verlander and team.

We just added the 7/8″ rounded corrugated panels to our family of standard products. It lends itself well to walls and rainscreens and higher sloped roofs. We think this profile pairs exceptionally well with terne.

Terne is tin over stainless steel. The tin component is a “living metal” and will weather over time. Each project will develop its own unique characteristics. Terne has the blessing of historical societies as a universally approved material. It lends interest and offers alternatives to more contemporary designs as well.
